GM Insignia Project

Hart Services cover launch of new Vauxhall Insignia

The New Vauxhall Insignia

Hart Services medics were tasked to provide the medical cover for the launch of General Motors new car the Vauxhall Insignia.  Hart Services were able to provide a Paramedic, EMT driver and emergency equipment to cover this four day prestigious event.  The event comprised of journalists flying in to Edinburgh from all over the Europe where they picked up a variety of the new model and drove to the Cameron House Hotel along preset routes to give an optimum test of the vehicle over various conditions.  On day two the journalist drove along the banks of Loch Lomond before heading back to Edinburgh where the process was repeated with a new batch of journalists.

Accomidation was in the Cameron Hotel and GM supplied Hart Services with a SAAB Turbo Aero to carry the medical equipment and personnel to cover the event.  Unfortunately GM wanted the car back at the end of the event much to the team’s disappointment.
