HART Technical line rescue unit training in simulation fx


Members of HART Services Technical rescue unit have recently completed training in Trauma/Casualty simulation make-up. The training was provided by Trauma FX at  Army Medical Service Training Centre, Strensall during pre-deployment training for Afganistan, FX are specialists in simulating a range of traumatic injuries from limb damage, amputation, to full thickness burns.

The FX team are training providers and give full time support to the emergency services, HM forces, as well as other rescue agencies.

The effects are created using specifically designed special effects make-up products and equipment, These effects are safe, accurate, visually realistic, long lasting and robust, making any first aid, med-rescue training realistic and challenging.Our volunteer casualty,s were mostly ex forces with some stories and horrendous experiences to share, working with the Amputees in Action group, We thank and support them all.
